Section 409(b)(2)(c): Exposure of Infants and Children
In setting tolerances, EPA must implement three new requirements relating to the safety of infants and children:
EPA must consider certain "available" information in assessing risk;
EPA must ensure that there is a reasonable certainty that no harm will result to infants and children from aggregate exposure to the pesticide; and
EPA must publish a specific determination regarding the safety of the pesticide for infants and children.
