Section 409(b)(2)(c): Risk assessment for infants and children

EPA must consider for infants and children:

  • Information showing that they are likely to eat a disproportionately high percentage of foods containing the pesticide;

  • Information concerning any special susceptibility of infants and children to the pesticide;

  • Information on the cumulative effects of the pesticide on infants and children, and also the cumulative effects of other substances that have common mechanism of toxicity.
