Section 408(p): Estrogenic Substances Screening Program

EPA must develop screening program for estrogenic effects and require testing of all pesticide chemicals under this program

  • Within two years, EPA, in consultation with FDA, must develop a screening program to gather information about the potential for pesticide chemicals and other substances (i.e..., environmental contaminants) to produce estrogenic or other effects in humans.
