Section 408(q): Schedule for Review IV

Existing tolerances must be reviewed within ten years

  • In reviewing tolerances, EPA must give priority to those tolerances and exemptions which appear to pose the greatest risk to public health. The Agency must publish a schedule for review of tolerances and exemptions within 12 months.
