Data Collection Activities II

  • Integrated Pest Management

    • FQPA requires USDA to conduct research and education programs to support the adoption of IPM. USDA and EPA are to make information on IPM available to pesticide users, including Federal agencies. Federal agencies are directed to use IPM techniques in carrying out pest management activities and "to promote IPM through procurement and regulatory policies and other activities."

  • Pesticide Use Information

    • FQPA requires USDA, in consultation with EPA, to prepare a report to Congress on federal activities to collect pesticide use information, including improvements in the collection of information.
