Carrot growers were asked to give information on any wildlife pests they may have encountered,
specifically deer and woodchucks. Table 6 summarizes the results of this question.

Nine of the 11 growers indicated that they were certified pesticide applicators. Two of the
growers did not answer this question. Therefore, all the carrot growers who responded to this
question were certified pesticide applicators.
