  Enclosed is a copy of the latest notice of the Reregistration Notification
  Network dated July 16, 1993.This issue of the RNN deals with the revocation
  of tolerances for certain canceled pesticides.  While these pesticides have
  been canceled for some time, some individuals may be affected if they still
  have existing stocks of these pesticides that may be used or if they're
  importing produce with residues of the these pesticides on them.

  impending pesticide use cancellations and tolerance revocations.  We would

  ethylene dibromide The USEPA has proposed the revocation for all tolerances
    (EDB)            for ethylene dibromide resulting from its use as a
                     fumigant.  Tolerances affected are for inorganic bromide
                     on or in ASPARAGUS, BEANS(LIMA), BROCCOLI, CARROTS,
                     CAULIFLOWER, CORN(SWEET), CORN(SWEET)(forage),
                     COTTONSEED, CUCUMBERS, EGGPLANT, LETTUCE, MELONS, OKRA,
                     PARSNIPS, PEANUTS, PEANUTS(HAY), PEANUTS(HULLS), PEPPERS,
                     PINEAPPLES, POTATOES, SQUASH(SUMMER), SOYBEANS,
                     STRAWBERRIES, SWEET POTATOES, and TOMATOES; and ethylene
                     dibromide on or in BARLEY, CORN, CORN(POP), MANGOES OATS,
                     RICE, RYE, SORGHUM(MILO), SOYBEANS, and WHEAT.  Most uses
                     of this soil fumigant were canceled in 1983; and all EDB
                     products were canceled by 1987.  Written comments,
                     identified by the number OPP-300267, may be submitted to
                     the Public Response Section by 8/9/93.
