benomyl The USEPA has reinstated the food additive regulations for
(Benlate), benomyl on PROCESSED TOMATO PRODUCTS and RAISINS and for
trifluralin trifluralin on PEPPERMINT and SPEARMINT OIL as of 9/12/94.
(Treflan) Tolerances for these uses were revoked on 6/30/94, and
announced here on 7/14/94. This reinstatement is the direct
result of an order to stay these revoked tolerances by the
Circuit Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit on 8/24/94.The
USEPA is not reinstating the other food additive regulations
mentioned in the 6/30/94 revocation order, because they were
not the subject of the Court's 8/24/94 decision -- those
               tolerances remain revoked.
