Cited on the Label
The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has approved
your request for a FIFRA 2(ee) recommendation for use of Bravo 720 Fungicide
(EPA Reg. No. 50534-188) on spruce to control a pest [Weir's Cushion (needle)
Rust] not cited on the label. Enclosed is a copy of the accepted
recommendation.
Anyone using Bravo Fungicide under this recommendation must have the
recommendation in their possession at the time of application.

Proposed Application Rate:
2 - 3 1/2 pts formulated product per acre.
Nature of 2(ee) variation from product label:
The current label is for control of two other diseases of spruce -
Sirococcus tip blight and Rhizosphaera needlecast.
The 2(ee) variation adds a new pest to the label, with recommended rates
similar to those for Sirococcus tip blight.

For control of Weir's cushion (needle) rust, apply chlorothalonil (Bravo
720, mixed 2 -3 1/2 pts/100 gallons, (depending on severity of disease) to
individual trees, beginning when 10% of buds have broken and twice thereafter
at 7-10 day intervals. Application should not exceed 100 gallons (= 2 - 3 1/2
pts formulated product) per acre.
