Iprodione - Registrant Announcement to Remove Blueberries from their Rovral® Label 11/03

SUBJECT: Rovral® brand iprodione fungicide - Blueberries

November 10, 2003

Rovral® brand iprodione fungicide has been used for many years thanks to widespread acceptance and use in key US horticultural and row crop markets. However, due to incidences of injury to blueberries following application of Rovral® 4F in Georgia in 2003, Bayer CropScience is prohibiting the use of all Rovral® products on all varieties of blueberries in the United States.

All Rovral® labels, including our current commercial formulation, Rovral® 4F, will be amended with the addition of appropriate wording to make the future use of Rovral® on blueberries inconsistent with label directions.

Following US EPA approval of this label amendment, EPA will establish a time frame for which the tolerances for blueberries will remain in effect. When this time frame is established, Bayer CropScience will communicate this information to you.

Should you have any questions, please contact Bayer CropScience at 1-866-99 BAYER (1-866-992-2937)

Sincerely,

Rob Schwehr
Product Manager-Rovral®
