      TRADE NAME(S):      Busan 72A (product discontinued by Buckman
                          Laboratories, Inc.), Busan 30A (56).

      FORMULATION(S):     An emulsifiable liquid which contains 30% of
                          TCMTB (Busan 30A) (56).

      TYPE:               Organic fungicide

      BASIC PRODUCER(S):  Buckman Laboratories, Inc.

      STATUS:             General use

      PRINCIPAL USES:  Soil and seed treatment against various diseases of
      field crops, certain vegetables and ornamentals (48).  Registered as
      a seed treatment for barley, cotton, corn, oats, rice and wheat.  Dust
      formulations based on TCMTB are also available for seed treatment of
      cereals, corn, cotton, legumes, rice, sorghum, and sugar beets (56).

      SOLUBILITY:         Practically insoluble in water (technical material)

      TOXICOLOGY

           A.  ACUTE TOXICITY

               DERMAL:  LD50 = 10,000 mg/kg (rabbit) (technical material)
                          (21d).

               ORAL:    LD50 = 1590 mg/kg (rat, Busan 72A) (56)


           B.  SUBACUTE AND CHRONIC TOXICITY:

                        IV.  ENVIRONMENTAL  CONSIDERATIONS

           Some hazard to fish.  Nonphytotoxic (48).
           The 96-hour LC50's to bluegill sunfish and rainbow trout of a 60%
      formulation (Busan 72) are reported as 0.047 and 0.029 parts per
      million.
           The LC50 to bobwhite quail is greater than 10,000 parts per
      million (21d).


                      V.  EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES

           The chemical information provided below has been condensed
      from original source documents, primarily from "Recognition and
      Management of Pesticide Poisonings", 3rd ed. by Donald P.  Morgan,
      which have been footnoted.  This information has been provided in
      this form for your convenience and general guidance only.  In
      specific cases, further consultation and reference may be required
      and is recommended.  This information is not intended as a sub-
      stitute for a more exhaustive review of the literature nor for the
      judgement of a physician or other trained professional.

           If poisoning is suspected, do not wait for symptoms to develop.
      Contact a physician, the nearest hospital, or the nearest Poison
      Control Center.

           SKIN CONTACT:  Wash promptly and thoroughly with an abrasive soap
      and cool water and finally with glycerin (21d).

           INGESTION:     Give patient doses of powdered charcoal or all he
      can swallow of raw egg whites, milk, gruel or flour and water.  Then
      induce vomiting with soap or mustard in warm water (21d).

           EYE CONTACT:   Flood eyes immediately with cool water for 15 to 30
      minutes (21d).
