Re:  Liberty Herbicide for Use on Glufosinate-Ammonium Tolerant (Transgenic)
     Corn; EPA EUP No. 45639-EUP-56
     The referenced experimental use program has been amended/extended in New 
York State. An updated Certificate of Pesticide Registration and a copy of the 
stamped-"Accepted" label are enclosed. The experimental permit is issued under 
the following conditions:
     1. Treatment is limited to a maximum total of nine acres corn (maximum 
total of seven pounds active ingredient);
     2. Treatments are limited to the enclosed list of cooperators submitted 
to this Department on May 30, 1996;
     3. It is your responsibility to notify the appropriate regional office of 
the Department at least 48 hours prior to any treatment. Enclosed is a list of 
regional office contacts and phone numbers;
     4. The experimental permit expires March 15, 1997.
