===========================================================================
perfluidone PBI/Gordon Corporation plans to voluntarily cancel the use of
(Destun) perfluidone on TOBACCO due to the cost of reregistration.
This is the last registered use of this herbicide; it has not
been marketed in the U.S. for several years. Unless
withdrawn by the registrant, this cancellation becomes final
on 10/18/94. PBI/Gordon will consider continuing this use if
another party wishes to develop the required data. If
cancelled, existing stocks of perfluidone in the hands of
dealers and users can be distributed, sold or used until such
stocks are depleted.
