PROPACHLOR HERBICIDE (Ramrod & Atrazine) - Voluntary Deletion of Uses
     Monsanto Agricultural Company has requested voluntary deletion of uses of
herbicide products containinq propachlor for sweet corn, processing green
peas, processing pumpkins, and flax.  Products affected include:
     Ramrod and Atrazine Flowable Herbicide (EPA Reg. No. 524-328)
     Ramrod Flowable Herbicide (EPA Reg. No. 524-331)
     Granular Ramrod 20 Herbicide (EPA Reg. No. 524-152)
     Ramrod and Atrazine DF Herbicide (EPA Reg. No. 524-423)
     The Federal Register of 4/29/92 (p.18146) provides a 90-day comment
period prior to EPA action on the deletions, and an 18-month period for
registrants to sell or distribute existing stocks with previously approved
labelling.  Only field corn, silage corn, hybrid seed corn, and sorghum uses
will continue to be supported by Monsanto for propachlor herbicide.  For
