Simazine (Princep) - Voluntary Cancellation of Certain Uses 4/92

     Ciba-Geigy has announced that it plans to voluntarily cancel the use of
simazine (Aquazine 90 WDG Algicide, Princep 4G, 80W, 4L and Princep caliber
90) for all aquatic uses, and on non-cropland, asparagus, artichokes and
sugarcane.  These uses are being dropped because of data development cost for
reregistration.
