Dear Ms. Linahan:

Re: Alert(TM) Insecticide-Miticide For Use on Cabbage EPA Experimental Use
Permit No. 241-EUP-134 Amended Expiration Date

This Department issued an Experimental Use Permit (EUP) for Alert(TM)
Insecticide-Miticide For Use on Cabbage on July 15, 1996. The federal EUP and
temporary tolerance for residues of the insecticide/miticide 4-bromo-2-(4-
AC 303,360("Alert(TM)") in or on cabbage expire June 5, 1997. Enclosed for
your files is an amended Certificate of Pesticide Registration listing an
expiration date which coincides with the specifications of the federal EUP.
Likewise, condition number four specified in the July 15, 1996 correspondence
accompanying the issuance of the referenced EUP is amended as follows:

     4. The experimental permit expires June 5, 1997.

If you have any questions regarding this action, contact Betty Seeley, of
my staff, at (518) 457-7446.
