Dear Mr. Dellamano:

RE: Special Local Need Registration for Agri-Mek 0.15 EC Miticide/
Insecticide (EPA Reg. No. 618-98) on Pears

The Department has approved your application to register the referenced
pesticide product in New York State pursuant to Section 24(c) of the
Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), as amended.
The Special Local Need (SLN) registration will permit the use of Agri-
Mek to control pear psylla on pears grown in New York State.

The registration has been issued the SLN Number NY-9600003. This SLN
registration for Agri-Mek on pears expires December 31, 1996.

We reviewed the submitted SLN labeling and have the following comments:

1. Revise "SLN No. NY-9600000" in the box at the top of the submitted
label to read "SLN No. NY-9600003."

2. Place the EPA Registration Number (618-98) for Agri-Mek 0.15 EC
Miticide/Insecticide at the top of the label directly below the bolded
name of the product.

3. Add the statement "This labeling must be in the possession of the
user at the time of pesticide application" to the Directions for Use

A copy of the final printed labeling which incorporates the above
revisions must be submitted to this office for final approval. The
Certificate of Registration for Agri-Mek is enclosed.

If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact Teresa
Foster, of my staff, at (518) 457-7446.
