Re: FIFRA 2(ee) Recommendation for the use of Sevin 80S (EPA Reg. No. 264-316), Danitol 2.4 EC (EPA Reg. No. 55639-35) and Provado Solupak 75% Wettable Powder (EPA Reg. No. 3125-428) to Control Asian Lady Beetle, Harmonia axyridis in Grapes

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (Department) has approved your FIFRA 2(ee) recommendations to add the target pest Asian Lady Beetle (Harmonia axyridis) for the above listed products on grapes.

The use of the above referenced products for the control of Asian Lady Beetle has been supported by the data submitted. The use rate and timing of application shall comply with the currently registered product labeling. Anyone treating grapes for control of Asian Lady Beetle with Sevin 80S, Danitol 2.4 EC or Provado Solupak 75% Wettable Powder must have the recommendation in their possession at the time of application.

Nature of 2(ee) Variation from Product Label:
	Addition of Asian Lady Beetle to the label. All applicable restrictions, limitations and precautions on the currently registered New York State label must be followed.

Complete Recommendation as it will Appear in Cornell Recommends:
	To control Asian Lady Beetle and reduce the off flavor smells/tastes that can result during grape/juice processing, apply the following materials:
	1. Carbaryl (Sevin 805) (EPA Reg. No. 264-316)	2.0 lb. ai./A carbaryl (2.5 lb. Sevin 805/A)
	Apply only once every 7 days. A maximum of 5 applications can be made per year. Do not apply more than 12.5 pounds per acre per year. Do not apply within 7 days of harvest. Do not concentrate sprays on the bunch or visible residues may result.
	2. Fenpropathrin (Danitol 2.4 EC) (EPA Reg. No. 59639-35)	0 1 lb ai/A (5.5 oz. Danitol 2.4 EC/A)
	Do not spray more than once every 7 days. Do not exceed 2.67 pints of Danitol (42.67 fl oz. per acre per season). Do not apply within 21 days of harvest.
	3. Provado Solupak 75% Wettable Powder (EPA Reg. No. 3125-428)	0.05 lb/A (0.75-1.0 oz. Provado Solupak 75% Wettable Powder)/A
	Allow 14 days between applications. Do not apply more than 2 ounces per acre of Provado Solupak 75% Wettable Powder per acre per year. Applications may be applied up to and including day of harvest.
