METHYL PARATHION

     Cheminova has announced that it plans to voluntarily cancel the use of
the insecticide methyl parathion on almonds, apples, apricots, cherries,
cucumbers, gooseberries, grapes, hops, peaches, pears, peppers, plums, prunes,
tobacco, tomatoes, safflower, and strawberries. Some of these uses may be
retained in light of the cancellation of parathion if enough users are
interested.
