Enclosed is the latest notice of the Reregistration Notification Network
(RNN) dated July 14, 1994.  In it is a listing of processed food tolerances
that have recently been revoked or proposed to be revoked as a result of
the current interpretation of the Delaney Clause.  Also listed is the
recent voluntary cancellation of all mevinphos (Phosdrin) uses.

The intent of this network is to inform interested parties of recent or
impending pesticide use cancellations, tolerance revocations, and other
items of agricultural interest.  To the best of our knowledge, the uses
mentioned here, unless otherwise indicated, will not appear on any label
registered by the USEPA after those uses are canceled.  We recommend that
you express any concerns or questions you have to the contact mentioned
below or to your NAPIAP State Liaison Representative.  If you wish to

benomyl,        The USEPA has denied the stay petitions filed in response to
trifluralin,   a final rule revoking certain food additive regulations
mancozeb,      (tolerances).  Those food additive regulations are benomyl in
phosmet        RAISINS and PROCESSED TOMATO PRODUCTS, trifluralin in
               PEPPERMINT and SPEARMINT OIL, mancozeb in BRAN of WHEAT, and
               phosmet in COTTONSEED OIL.  The initial revocation was issued
               on 7/14/93 and in response to the stay petitions was stayed
               (postponed) on 9/16/93.  This order in effect denies the stay
               and revokes the above tolerances as of 6/30/94.
